Tiger's Story Part 2 - The Newest House Cat

The kitten continued to live in our hedge and I continued to feed him. I caught him a few more times to let him get used to being handled but it was always in the evening after work so I didn't give him the bath he needed before moving in. Finally, on a Saturday afternoon on June 7th, he became our 6th housecat. He received his first bath and while I was expecting to be scratched and bitten, he only made a brief struggle to escape, gave one little mew in protest, and then submitted meekly to his bath.

After he was dry, I showed him the litter box and watched as he started exploring. He made himself at home and started playing with the cat toys right away.

My dad suggested we call him Tiger, since he's a big Tiger Woods fan and he was watching golf on the TV at the time. Our other cats watched him but left him alone. A few days later, Bebe decided to check him out.
