I Found Anudder Bug!
The bugs keep coming in the howse and I found a BIG one.
When Momma saw what I was playing wiff, she went "ahhhhhh" and got the swatter and went WHACK! and it wuz a gonner. I guess I must have gotten roach breff this time 'cuz I wuz carrying it around and playing wiff it for a while afore Momma saw whut I had.
Every morning, Pumpkin wants to investigate what I'm having for breakfast.
Drownded Paper Ball
I put one of mine paper balls in the water dish for a baff but it got drownded. It din't look like a paper ball any more. I'll go ask Momma to make me anudder one.
I Got a New Nip Pillow!
I got mail frum Beau Beau and Angie on Friday and I opened it afore Momma came home frum her werkplace.
It wuz a pink pillow just stuffed full wiff nip! They sent it 'cuz they really liked Quincy's fev-vers and wanted to say fank you. It smell sooo gud and tasted gud too when I put the bitey on it.
And since their letter to me smelled like nip, I put the bitey on it real gud too! Take THAT letter!
FANK YOU BEAU BEAU AND ANGIE! I LUV MY NEW PILLOW! And the letter tasted gud too!
Snake in the Patio!
Momma found a snake in the patio! (grumble) And she didn't let me haff it!
Linda: You know I REALLY thought we didn't have snakes in Hawaii until I found this little guy under the plastic that one of the litter boxes sits on in the patio. I thought it was an earthworm but it was a STRANGE earthworm. I took a closer look with a magnifying glass and saw a little tongue flick out. After checking the internet, I realized I had found a Brahminy Blind Snake and it's actually pretty common here. Just goes to show you that I don't do a lot of gardening. LOL!
Momma finally figured out how to put videos on mine blog. Here is one wiff Quincy talking and not yelling or growling. Momma haz to talk to him so that he talks back to her. Silly birdy!
I Got Shrimp Tonight!
Ooooo, Momma gave me my most fav-rit food in the hole werld, shrimp! I effen let Pumpkin haff sum.
Fank yu Momma! Can I haff sum more?
Tiger's Story Part 4 - Part of the Six-Pack
Tiger settled right in as part of the family.
The final picture is the only picture I took with all 6 cats together. You don't see 6 cats? If you bigify the picture, the pair of glowy eyes behind the couch to the right of Bebe is Blackie! From left to right is Tiger, Snookums, Jennifer and Snugglepuss with Bebe and Blackie behind them. They're waiting to be let back into the house after being locked out in the patio for the night.
The story of Leona's 3 Kamuela cats (Snookums, Jennifer and Snugglepuss), who are all at the Rainbow Bridge, will be told in a future post.

Tiger's Story Part 3 - Big Brother Bebe
When Tiger moved in, Bebe was around 6 ½ years old and the other 4 kitties were all senior lady cats between 13 and 17 years old. Bebe was the first to become acquainted with the newcomer.
After first showing him who was boss, he was happy to have someone to play with. Tiger followed his new big brother all around and they became the best of friends.

Tiger's Story Part 2 - The Newest House Cat
The kitten continued to live in our hedge and I continued to feed him. I caught him a few more times to let him get used to being handled but it was always in the evening after work so I didn't give him the bath he needed before moving in. Finally, on a Saturday afternoon on June 7th, he became our 6th housecat. He received his first bath and while I was expecting to be scratched and bitten, he only made a brief struggle to escape, gave one little mew in protest, and then submitted meekly to his bath.
After he was dry, I showed him the litter box and watched as he started exploring. He made himself at home and started playing with the cat toys right away.
My dad suggested we call him Tiger, since he's a big Tiger Woods fan and he was watching golf on the TV at the time. Our other cats watched him but left him alone. A few days later, Bebe decided to check him out.Go to Part 3 - Big Brother Bebe

Tiger's Story Part 1 - The Hedge Cat
Late one night in May of 2003, I heard a cat mewing in our hedge. I searched for it but could only get a glimpse of a small kitten with grey stripes in the beam from the flashlight since it would slip away every time I got close. It was just as well that I couldn't catch it since we already had five other cats and we didn't want another cat. However, the next night it was back again and the cries were getting more desperate so I put out a bowl of food. Every day I would look for the kitten and it was still in our hedge so I kept feeding him. Here is the first picture I managed to take of the kitten by sticking my arm in the hedge with the camera blindly aimed at him.
I kept feeding him and he got used to me and he finally came close enough so that I could catch him. He struggled a little bit but then calmed down and started purring as I stroked him. I showed him to my parents, discovered it was a little boy kitten but then I had to let him go again since it was nearly midnight and it was too late to bathe him to get rid of the fleas that were crawling on him.

A Quiet Saturday Evening
The kitties are doing what they do best. In other words napping (or in the case of Tiger, washing.)
There are lotz of kitty bedz in our howse. Bebe alwayz sleeps in hiz bed at night.
Tiger sumtimes uses the one in the livink room and he likes the small round bed in the patio too.
When I wuz little, I used one of the beds once but I don't use it anymore.
Blackie haz never effur slept in a kitty bed. She likes the couch and the cage and she don't mind if I go on the cage wiff her too.
Queen of the Patio
I am Blackie and I’m the senior cat in this howse. I wuz here FURST so the patio is MINE. The COUCH is mine too. Beware any woofies who come in my territory. If yu come too close to me, I will GROWL at yu and CHASE yu! Tiger is being a pain recently. When he comes after me, I let loose my awesome banshee wail and my human servants rush over to chase him away frum me. I am the Queen!
Effury night when Momma is making Pluto and Suzy's dinner, Blackie and me wait for Momma to give us a little bit of the gravy frum their woofie food.
I Found a Bug!
Effen tho' we tented the house to kill the bugs in the walls not too long ago, we still got bugs and I found one. They come under the door frum outside. I smelled it and poked it but afore I culd bite it, Momma tooked it away and threw it back outside. She sed she din't want me to get roach breff!
The Pounce That Din't Happen
I'm gonna hide under Momma's bed and surprize her and pounce at her feets when she walks past me. Pumpkin, I SEE YOU! Don't you dare!

Stuff on Me
Sumtimes Momma likes to look at the kitties at Stuff On My Cat. She sed the pictors are funny and they makes her laff. Then she got the brite idear of putting stuff on ME so she could send them mine pictor too. She tried to put stuff on me and I runned away. She tried to put stuff on Tiger and he runned away too. Then one afternoon when I wuz sleeping on the couch, she put a little lion on me. I woke up but din't run away so she put anudder one on me. Then anudder one and anudder one. She effen put Mini Me on the pile tho' he'z not a lion. Tho' I wuz gud and din't move, Mario din't use the pictor that Momma sent him. Just as well that strange beans din't see what I haf to put up wiff!
