Food Inspekshun

Momma sed tho owr stinky goodness wuz on the Iams bad food list, the date code iz way afore the problum started, but I had to check fur mineself to make shure. I don't fink she'z gonna giff them to us anyway.

I wood be sad if I coodn't haff mine Iams Select Bites powch food anymore since I been eeting that since I stopped drinking milk frum the bottle. We haff owr big bowls of crunchies but me and Blackie want wet food fur brekfest. Momma bawt sum cheep kinds of stinky goodness that wuzn't on the bad food list and Blackie sed they'z okay since she had them afore. She'z not picky like I are so we'll see if I like them too.

Happy Blog-aversary, Kat!

Kat is the reason that I started a blog for Pumpkin. I found her website when The Daily Kitten site was down last year and started visiting every day. Then I started commenting. Then I submitted our cats for her site. And at her suggestion, I started a cat blog of my own. Thanks to you, Kat, I've met a whole bunch of beautiful cats and their beans. It's been a wonderful year of adult cats, and we look forward to meeting other great kitties!

Mu Shue Monday

The Grate Mu shue Pooh King Cat is going to the v.e.t. hospital fur his radio treetment today and we'z sending him lotz and lotz of purrs that he izn't scared and it makes him feel better and he comes home feeling like a new cat. Not LOOK like a new cat, cuz he looks fine to me and I look like him!

Waring the Green

Today iz St. Patrick's Day to honor the man who drove the snakes owt of Ireland. Momma, whut are snakes and ware is Ireland? Anyway, we am supposed to ware green so that we don't get pinched. Bebe and Tiger got green eyes and Quincy's entire hole body is green so they am safe. Me and Blackie had to figure somefing owt. Momma joined two green hare scrunchies and putted it on me. It duzn't make me took like a mancat but I wore it fur a short wile anyway.

And Momma fownd a button to put on Blackie's cage so that she am safe too.

Flee Friday

Momma saw Bebe and me skratching so she combed us wiff the flee comb and fownd owt that Sammie is sharing her fleez wiff us again! So she had to put flee meddysin on owr neks.

This is what she used on us. Yu can see that mine nek is all wet and stringy. At least tonite was shrimp nite and Tiger and me had shrimp to make us feel better.

Blackie duzn't like shrimp so she wuz growchy all nite and Bebe was worried that his nek will get bald like the last time.

Friday Fun

One ov owr fun toys came wiff the Kamuela cats. It'z a scratchy rownd platform wiff a mousie that yu can chase inside it.

It'z an old toy and one of the supports iz cracked (I fink Snookums SAT on it and broked it) and the mousie iz falling apart but it'z still fun to play wiff.

Snugglepuss liked to lie on it and make purty paws but it haz a battery in it so that the mousie can spin by itz ownself.

It can spin reely fast but I like trying to ketch it!

Man Cat Monday

I'z a Big Man Cat and I don't fit vury well in the small cat bed in the liffink room. The Lady iz gonna get one of the wunderful cat bed/hammocks made by Forty Paws and if Big Man Cat Dorf can fit on it, then I can too! We all got wayed this weekend and I'z the biggest at 15.2 pownds. Tiger iz 12.6 pownds, Blackie iz 10.4 pownds and Pumpkin the runt finally made 9 pownds.

Sending Owt Hugs

Thare's been a lot of hissing goin' on in the Cat Blogosphere lately and so the grate Mu shue had the idear of sending owt hugs insted. I wuz hugged by mine furrend Victor Tabbycat and I'z sending owt hugs to mine furrends:

Anothur of Mine Favrit Places

I like to hang owt in the baffroom doorway in the aftanoon. This way I can see the hyoomans coming and going arownd the howse. And the vinyl baffroom floor is cooler than the carpet.

Of corse they haf to move me if they want to close the door when they use the baffroom. I wait in the hallway and move back when the door is open again. I also leeve the fings I find to play wiff in the hall. Like the time I fownd Momma's string of perls on her bed. Hey, it'z a string so I played wiff it!

She wuzn't too happy abowt that but if she dint want me to play wiff it, she shood haff put it away in her joolry box.

Mine Favrit Places

One of mine favrit places is Grandmaw's reeding chare. I nap thare all the time in the aftanoon but if she's using the chare at nite, I jump on it as soon as she gets up wile it'z still warm. She duzn't chase me away. She goes sumware else to reed. She'z a nice Grandmaw.
